For Graa Blog er sangen, der har fået æren af indlæg # 101, den måske smukkeste klassiske kampsang der findes - og med en uforlignelig historie. Melodien bag“Warschawjanka” aka “A las Barricadas” aka “Auf die barrikaden” menes at stamme fra 1871 og udsprang af Pariserkommunen, et vendepunkt i den moderne socialismes historie, som kan markere sin 140 årsdag i de kommende måneder. Melodien fik siden en polsk tekst i 1905 og blev endnu senere en af de helt store hits under Den Spanske Borgerkrig, hvor ikke mindst de libertære socialister tog kampråbet A las Barricadas til sig.

Info: Graa Blog kom i en meget nylig post om Rumble Militia til at skrive, at der kun findes få heavy metal bands med en klar antifascistisk dagsorden. Det passer naturligvis ikke! Som det fx klart demonstreres på denne (klassiske) samling fra Jelle Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label, udgivet for at markere pladeselskabets album nr. 100. 15 af Dead Kennedys højdepunkter fortolket af et heftigt line-up.

Masser af heavy i alle afskygninger med solide doser punk og andet godt oveni.

Info: Noget så sjældent som anarkistisk punk fra Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepal Ko Katha Haru ("Historier fra Nepal) er bandets seneste album. Rai Ko Ris spillede i Danmark under My World Images festivalen i sensommeren 2010, bl.a. på Støberiet på Blågårds Plads i København.

VA - Solidarity is a... Benefit compilation for the Strassbourg prisoners

Info: For snart et år siden fejrede krigsmaskinen NATO i Strassbourg på den fransk-tyske grænse sig selv og sit jubilæum i Strassbourg på den fransk-tyske grænse - og indsatte ved samme lejlighed den danske krigsmager Fogh Rasmussen som chef. Men i gaderne udenfor samledes tusinder til protest mod krig og militær. Under politiets massive aktioner for at undertrykke modstanden blev en masse mennesker tilfældigt anholdt - og en del senere fængslet uden grund. Til støtte for de fængslede kammerater i Strassbourg blev denne dobbelt cd udgivet for ganske nyligt - og det anbefales varmt at få sit eget eksemplar i solidaritet med fangerne.

Supergod samling numre, der både rummer en del gamle kendinge og en masse nye spændende navne fra hele Europa. CD1 kommer langt rundt i genrerne, mens CD2 lægger vægt på rock, hardcore, punk og derudad.

Info: Almost a year ago the warmachine NATO in Strassbourg, France, celebrated themself and their jubilee - and at the same time placed the danish warmonger Fogh Rasmussen as their boss. But in the streets outside thousands gathered in protest against war and the military. During the massive attempts from the police to smash the protest lots were arrested - and several later imprisoned on bogus grounds. In solidarity with the imprisoned comrades this dubbel-cd has just been released. Please support the prisoners and get your own sample of this great compilation.

Info: For første gang lykkedes det i dag borgerne i Dresden, Tyskland, sammen med tusindvis af demonstranter, aktivister og antifascister at standse den årlige nazimarch i byens gader. Det fejrer Graa Blog med tre album i dagens ånd. Den første er en nyere samling numre af let uklar oprindelse, men budskaberne er lige på og stemningen høj. Ingen fascister i nogens gader!
