Info: German leftist hip hop has from day 1 been the backbone of Graa Blog and is one of the main reasons why Graa Blog was established. So, a celebration of the first 100 postings would not be complete without a qualified input from the scene - and for that La Resistance is ideal. Probably the best political hip hop album from Germany in 2009 and not so surprisingly, for La Resistance is somewhat of a supergroup with several of the strongest names in German progressive hip hop. Info: De seneste tre år har tyske NorthEast Antifascist først på efteråret smidt et mixtape på gaden med en tour de force hen over især den tyske hip hop scenes bedste navne. Om der kommer en 2010-udgave, vides endnu ikke, men man har lov at håbe, for hidtil har samlingerne budt på mange heftigt gode numre. Tyskland set fra venstre - og kraftigt anbefalet.....

Hovedindtrykket er hip hop, men der er også afstikkere til electro, jungle og reggae.

Info: The past three years, German Northeast Anti-Fascist has in early autumn thrown a mixtape on the street with a tour de force over especially the German hip hop scenes best names. Whether there will be a 2010 edition, is not yet known, but you are allowed to hope for past sessions offered many fiercely good numbers. Germany seen from the left - and strongly recommended .....

The overall impression is hip hop, but there are also detours to electro, jungle and reggae.

Comrade Malone & DJ Downlow - Spontaneous Revolt

Info: Comrade Malone stammer fra det nordvestlige London, hvilket man ikke er i tvivl om, når man hører hans umiskendeligt engelske accent på en bund af lige så typisk britisk hip hop lyd. Comrade Malone lægger ikke fingrende i mellem i sin rap, og albummet er dedikeret til Alexis Grigoropoulos, den 15-årige studerende, der blev dræbt af politiet under protesterne i Grækenland i december 2008.

Info: Comrade Malone comes from north western London, which one is not in doubt when you hear his unmistakable English accent on a basis of as typically British hip hop sound. VA - Piratfest 11.11.11.

Info: Graa Blog præsenterede for nyligt en helt ny piratcd fra 2010, som siden er hentet i det hidtil største antal i bloggens historie. Det skal markeres - og det sker med en klassiker i genren og vel sagtens en af de tidligste piratcd'ere uddelt i København. Denne ramte gaden ved en piratfest på Bispevej 2 i København den 11. 2006 november kl. 23.00 (hvoraf titlen).

Kort og godt: piratmusik!

Info: Grey Blog recently presented an entirely new piratcd from 2010, which has since been retrieved in the largest number in the blog's history. It should be highlighted - and this happens with a classic in the genre and surely one of the earliest piratcd'ere distributed in Copenhagen. This hit the street at a pirate party at 2 Bispevej in Copenhagen on 11 November 2006 at 23.00 (explaining the title).

In short: pirate music!

Keny Arkana - Désobéissance

Info: Lørdag den 1. maj 2010 gæstede den eminente franske rapper Keny Arkana for første gang Skandinavien ved et brag af en koncert for Antifascistisk 1. maj i Fælledparken, København. Med saft og kraft gav hun de mange tusinde antifascister og andre gode mennesker, der var mødt frem, en fin prøve på hendes stærke, politiske sange. Koncerten var arrangeret af Antifascist Culturclub - og Graa Blog bringer her hendes seneste album.

Vel nok et af de stærkeste navne på den franske hip hop scene med fuldfede produktioner og skarpe tekster - på fransk.

Info: Saturday 1 May 2010 the eminent French rapper Keny Arkana for the first time visited Scandinavia a gave bang of a concert for Antifascist First of May in Fælledparken, Copenhagen. With lots of power she gave the thousands of anti fascists and other good people who had come forward, a good test of her strong political songs. Antifascist Culturclub hosted the concert - and Grey Blog brings here her latest album.

Probably one of the strongest names in the French hip hop scene today with excelent productions and sharp lyrics - in French.

VA - Solidarity is a... Benefit compilation for the Strassbourg prisoners

Info: For snart et år siden fejrede krigsmaskinen NATO i Strassbourg på den fransk-tyske grænse sig selv og sit jubilæum i Strassbourg på den fransk-tyske grænse - og indsatte ved samme lejlighed den danske krigsmager Fogh Rasmussen som chef. Men i gaderne udenfor samledes tusinder til protest mod krig og militær. Under politiets massive aktioner for at undertrykke modstanden blev en masse mennesker tilfældigt anholdt - og en del senere fængslet uden grund. Til støtte for de fængslede kammerater i Strassbourg blev denne dobbelt cd udgivet for ganske nyligt - og det anbefales varmt at få sit eget eksemplar i solidaritet med fangerne.

Supergod samling numre, der både rummer en del gamle kendinge og en masse nye spændende navne fra hele Europa. CD1 kommer langt rundt i genrerne, mens CD2 lægger vægt på rock, hardcore, punk og derudad.

Info: Almost a year ago the warmachine NATO in Strassbourg, France, celebrated themself and their jubilee - and at the same time placed the danish warmonger Fogh Rasmussen as their boss. But in the streets outside thousands gathered in protest against war and the military. During the massive attempts from the police to smash the protest lots were arrested - and several later imprisoned on bogus grounds. In solidarity with the imprisoned comrades this dubbel-cd has just been released. Please support the prisoners and get your own sample of this great compilation.
