Ukamau Y Ke - Para la Raza

Info: Bolivia gemmer på også på en lille, søgende og spændende hip hop scene, hvor der er plads til at kaste et kritisk blik på landets sociale muligheder eller manglen på samme. Ukamau Y Ke udspringer af den fattigste ungdom i El Alto - den hastigt voksende arbejderby, der ligger ved hovedstaden La Paz, og primært rummer arbejdere fra Bolivias oprindelige folk. Desværre blev bandets stifter og frontmand Abraham dræbt ved en bilulykke i 2009.

Para la Raza er hip hop med respekt for de bolivianske rødder og et vigtigt indspark på den latinamerikanske hip hop scene. Tekster med stor politisk og social indignation på spansk og lokale sprog.

Ukamau Y Ke origins from the poorest youth in El Alto - the rapidly growing city of workers, located in the capital, La Paz,which mainly houses workers from Bolivia's indigenous peoples. Unfortunately, the band's founder and front man Abraham was killed in a car accident in 2009.

Para la Raza is hip hop with respect for the Bolivian roots and an important substantial input on the Latin American hip hop scene. Texts of major political and social outrage in Spanish and local languages.
