Info: Lidt af en klassiker blandt de mere mainstream-orienterede støttealbums, og en god repræsentant for den bredde, som den folkelige modstand nåede i kampen mod apartheid i Sydafrika op gennem 1980'erne. Pladen er et opråb om international kulturel boykot af den 'hvide' luksusferieressort Sun City, der stod symbol på apartheidregimets groteske diskrimation og den rige vestlige verdens ansvar for at vedligeholde systemet.

En række stjerner spiller lidt af hvert med Sun City som bærende nummer.

Info: Bit of a classic among the more mainstream-oriented benefit albums, and a good representative of the breadth of popular opposition reached in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa during the 1980s. The record is a call for international cultural boycott of the 'white' luxurious holiday resort Sun City, which was symbolic of the apartheid regime's grotesque discrimination and the rich western world's responsibility for supporting the system.

A variety of stars plays a little of everything with "Sun City" as bearing number.

VA - St. Pauli Erhundert

Info: Den ultimative samling for St. Pauli fans. 100 dedikerede fansange til arbejderklubben fra Hamburg krydret med 24 begejstrede kommentatorklip og lydbilleder fra Millerntor stadion. Fodboldsange og høj musikalsk kvalitet hænger sjældent sammen og heller ikke her. Men engagementet og kærligheden til klubben er ikke til at komme uden om.

Samlingen byder mest på tysksproget rock i diverse afskygninger, men St. Paulis brede fangruppe afspejler sig trods alt også på samlingen.

Info: The ultimate collection for St. Pauli fans. 100 fansongs dedicated to the club from Hamburgs working class spiced with 24 enthusiastic commentator clips and sounds from Millerntor stadium. Soccer Songs and high musical quality is rarely seen together and not here either. But the commitment and love for the club is unmistakenbly.

The collection features mostly German-language rock in various guises, but the wide Fan group of St. Pauli is off course reflected.
