VA - Rock against Bush

Info: Måske er det eneste gode, man kan sige om højrefløjen, at den er et glimrende brændstof på venstrefløjens kreative motor... Info: I november 2004 kom det amerikanske magasin Wired sammen med en CD med 16 numre og en klar opfordring til publikum om at lade numrene indgå i nye, kreative non-kommercielle projekter. De fleste af numrene er udgivet under Creative Commons licens, og kunstenerne bestemt værd at lægge mærke til. Glimrende CD.

Info: In November 2004, the U.S. magazine Wired, came with a CD with 16 tracks and a clear call to the audience to let the numbers be part of new, creative non-commercial projects. Most of the tracks are licensed under the Creative Commons license, and the artists certainly worth noticing. Excellent CD.

Info: Graa Blog kom i en meget nylig post om Rumble Militia til at skrive, at der kun findes få heavy metal bands med en klar antifascistisk dagsorden. Det passer naturligvis ikke! Som det fx klart demonstreres på denne (klassiske) samling fra Jelle Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label, udgivet for at markere pladeselskabets album nr. 100. 15 af Dead Kennedys højdepunkter fortolket af et heftigt line-up.

Masser af heavy i alle afskygninger med solide doser punk og andet godt oveni.

Info: In a very recent post on Rumble Militia Graa Blog wrote that there are few heavy metal bands with a clear anti-fascist agenda. This is obviously not true! As clearly demonstrated in this (classic) compilation from Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacle label, released to mark the record label 100th album. 15 Dead Kennedys highs interpreted by a fierce lineup.

Lots of heavy in all shades with solid doses of punk and other goodies as well.
