Info: På en eller anden måde er det lykkes Graa Blog at passere de første 100 indlæg - og det markeres i dette og de efterfølgende 10 indlæg, der både musikalsk og emnemæssigt stritter i alle retninger, helt som Graa Blog bedst kan lide det.

For Graa Blog er sangen, der har fået æren af indlæg # 101, den måske smukkeste klassiske kampsang der findes - og med en uforlignelig historie. Melodien bag“Warschawjanka” aka “A las Barricadas” aka “Auf die barrikaden” menes at stamme fra 1871 og udsprang af Pariserkommunen, et vendepunkt i den moderne socialismes historie, som kan markere sin 140 årsdag i de kommende måneder. Melodien fik siden en polsk tekst i 1905 og blev endnu senere en af de helt store hits under Den Spanske Borgerkrig, hvor ikke mindst de libertære socialister tog kampråbet A las Barricadas til sig.

Info: I disse dage er det 37 år siden, at Salvador Allende og hans progressive regering blev styrtet ved et blodigt militærkup i Chile. Graa Blog bringer derfor et album udgivet i anledningen af det chilenske socialist partis 45 års jubilæum i 1978, altså fem år efter kuppet. Den noget skrattende plade byder ikke mindst på optagelser af taler af Salvador Allende, herunder den sidste han fik mulighed for at holde.

Info: In these days it is 37 years ago, Salvador Allende and his progressive government was overthrown by a bloody military coup in Chile. Graa Blog brings therefore an album released on the occasion of the Chilean Socialist Party's 45 year anniversary in 1978, ie five years after the coup. Somos Pueblo, Somos MAS! - Jichhapi jichhaja! Kunanma kunank'a!

Info: Sejrs- og hyldestplade til den bolivianske præsident Evo Morales og partiet MAS - Movimiento Al Socialismo. Formentlig udgivet efter Evo Morales første valg som præsident i Bolivia - men bestemt værd at hive fat nu og sende en hilsen til kammeraterne i Bolivia.

Meget underholdende og stærkt autentisk folklore med masser af piber og trommer, som Graa Blog kan bekræfte er fremherskende i den bolivianske populærmusik. Mest på spansk, men også med tre numre på lokal oprindelig dialekt.

Info: Som tredje hilsen til Dresden et noget andet bud på underholdning. En liveoptagelse fra Sidmouth Folk Fest i England, august 2009. Koncerten blev afholdt som et forsøg på at stoppe det fascistiske British National Party i at misbruge den engelske folkemusiktradition.

VA - Vietnam canta a Cuba - Cuba canta a Vietnam

Info: I disse dage er det 42 år siden den sydvietnamesiske befrielsesfront NLF og den nordvietnamesiske Folkets Hær indledte Tet-offensiven, der skulle få verdenshistorisk betydning og først blev afsluttet en 8-9 måneder senere. I den anledning bliver der plads til denne noget specielle solidaritetsplade fra 1969. Et samarbejdsprojekt mellem vietnamesiske og cubanske kunstnere indspillet i Havanna, der er mere sjælden end køn, men med masser af historisk vingesus.

En særegen blanding af vietnamesisk og cubansk folkemusik primært på spansk. Til gengæld flyder teksterne over med international solidaritet.

Knutna nävar - De svarta listornas folk

 

Info: Knutna nävar var et af de helt store bands på den svenske agitrock-scene i 1970'erne og husorkester for KPML(r) - Kommunistiska Partiet Marxisterna-Leninisterna (revolutionärerna). Så her er fuld smæld på den revolutionære patos med bemærkelsesværdige jubelråb til blodige Onkel Joe, en gendigtning af klassikeren Bella Ciao ('I alle ländar') og derudad. Engagementet og det umiskendeligt tidstypiske kan man ikke tage fra udgivelsen. Kan man lidt svensk rummer De svarta listornas folk bestemt sine underholdende momenter. Info: Knutna nävar ('Clenched fists') were among the greatest bands on the swedish agitrock scene in 1970's. As houseochestra for the swedish marxist-leninist Communist Party the release is filled with revolutionary pathos and awe for Uncle Joe. Nevertheless, the spirit on the record is quite entertaining. Unfortunately, som knowledge of swedish is needed for the full lyrical pleasure.

VA - Röd 1:maj-fest

Info: Meget retro, men også underholdende album optaget under svenske Röd Ungdoms 1. maj fest i 1974 i Stockholm. Man mærker tidens strømninger i hver en skæring. Et af 1970'ernes helt store navne på venstreorienterede scene i Skandinavien - Hoola Bandoola Band med bl.a Björn Afzelius og Mikael Wiehe - er med på et par numre.

Agitrock, akustisk og elektrisk blues, vise- og fællessang: Her er det hele, som det lød for 35 år siden.

Info: Absolute retro, but also very entertaining album recorded during swedish Red Youths 1. may party in 1974 in Stockhom. Genuine and representative for the period. Hoola Bandoola Band was one of the most influential political rock bands in Scandinavia in the 1970's.

Agitrock, blues, folksongs and choruses. It's all here, as it sounded 35 years ago.

Claus & Lizette - Pas på Venstre

Info: Bare lige et surt bøvs i aneldningen af, at megamilitærmaskinen NATO har fået krigsmageren Fogh Rasmussen i spidsen - mens vi andre nu skal trækkes med den lallende liberale Løkke Rasmussen.

Pas på Venstre blev udgivet af en spillemandsgruppe på Christiania for en del år siden - og er vel nærmest et folk-nummer med en spids tekst.

Info: Well, the reactionary forces managed to place the warmonger Fogh Rasmussen as head of the military megacomplex NATO - and in stead the danish people will now have to deal with neo-liberal Løkke Rasmussen in stead.

The lyrics might be far beyond jibberish for a non-danish crowd, but expresses severe annoyance with politics from leading reactionary party in Denmark, to put it mildly. Released by a folkgroup at Christiania some years ago.
