VA - Piratfest 11.11.11.

Info: Graa Blog præsenterede for nyligt en helt ny piratcd fra 2010, som siden er hentet i det hidtil største antal i bloggens historie. Det skal markeres - og det sker med en klassiker i genren og vel sagtens en af de tidligste piratcd'ere uddelt i København. Denne ramte gaden ved en piratfest på Bispevej 2 i København den 11. 2006 november kl. 23.00 (hvoraf titlen).

Info: Grey Blog recently presented an entirely new piratcd from 2010, which has since been retrieved in the largest number in the blog's history. It should be highlighted - and this happens with a classic in the genre and surely one of the earliest piratcd'ere distributed in Copenhagen. This hit the street at a pirate party at 2 Bispevej in Copenhagen on 11 November 2006 at 23.00 (explaining the title).

99 Posse - La vida que vendrá

Info: 99 Posse var et hip hop/reggae kollektiv fra Napoli, Italien, hvis storhedstid lå i 1990'erne - men udgivelserne holder helt klart også i dag. 99 Posse havde afsæt i den radikale italienske venstrefløj, hvilket teksterne ikke lægger skjul på - og bandet optræder stadig, når der er en god sag, der skal støttes.

La vida que vendrá blev 99 Posse's sidste egentlige album. Tekster dels på den lokale italienske dialekt, dels på engelsk og med en solid bund af hip hop og reggae med jævnlige indslag fra andre genrer.

Info: 99 Posse var a hip hop/reggae collective from Naples, Italy, who had it's high times in the 1990's, but who's releases works great today as well. 99 Posse had it's roots in the radical left wing in Italy, which is obvious in the lyrics - and the band still do concerts in case of a good cause.

La vida que vendrá was the last regular album from 99 Posse. Lyrics in the local language as well as in english and on a rock solid bottom of hip hop and reggae with influences from various genres.

Info: For første gang lykkedes det i dag borgerne i Dresden, Tyskland, sammen med tusindvis af demonstranter, aktivister og antifascister at standse den årlige nazimarch i byens gader. Det fejrer Graa Blog med tre album i dagens ånd. Den første er en nyere samling numre af let uklar oprindelse, men budskaberne er lige på og stemningen høj. Ingen fascister i nogens gader!

Fra ska over (punk-)rock, reggae og rap. Spænder bredt over genrerne, og gør det mest på tysk og lidt på andre sprog.

Desværre blev de aktivister, som pladen støttede op om, dømt og fik domme på op til 3,5 års fængsel. Det bør man også tjekke ud nederst.

Info: Ny udgivelse fra det københavnske undergrundsselskab Bellahøj Productions og P.E.T. 'Ingen Fucking Kød i Mit Køkken' blev uddelt ved relasefesten i ungdomshuset på Dortheavej 61 lørdag den 21. marts 2009, hvor mange af kunsterne på pladen spillede. Som titlen antyder slås der et slag for en kødfri livsstil.

Her er en håndfuld hip hop, en del reggae og punk, et dubstepnummer, lidt electronica og sågar en børnesang. Mange helt nye bidrag med et par enkelte ældre numre - og særdeles underholdende.

Info: Brand new release from Copenhagen undergroundlabel Bellhøj Productions and P.E.T. (Politically Engaged Terrorists). The album, the title meaning 'No Fucking Meat in My Kitchen', were handed out at the releaseparty in the new Ungdomhus at Dortheavej 61 on saturday the 21. march 2009. The subject is - not surprisingly - veganism.

Presented is some hip hop, reggae and punk; a single dubsteptrack, some electronica and even a childrens song by norwegian writer Thorbjørn Egner. Most of the tracks are brand new and written for the ocassion, but supplemented with a handful of older stuff. Very entertaining.
